Truman & Tennessee: An Intimate Conversation
Literary icons Truman Capote and Tennessee Wiliams sprung with genius into the limelight in the 1950s, unabashed gay men who found fame and personal turmoil in their dual journeys through high-flying celebrity life and cultural acclaim. This documentary from Lisa Immordino Vreeland (Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict, Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel) recaptures those lives in the mens' own voices, in archival footage and those of actors Jim Parsons and Zachary Quinto, who represent Capote and Williams, respectively.
